We are proud to announce that, together with Oceánidas and thanks to the efforts of almost two thousand volunteers, we have removed 3,385 kilos of marine litter from more than 40 sites throughout Spain during the X Great International Seabed Clean-up this past weekend.
Dr. Tree, our brand for the care of the most sensitive skins with natural ingredients and certified by Cosmos Natural Ecocert, has been the ambassador of this great clean-up, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
This effort has been instrumental in reaching a total of more than 28.9 tonnes of waste removed since we began our partnership with Oceánidas in 2021.
The volunteer divers of the Watchers Network, who have been the voice of our seas and oceans, have once again highlighted the serious problem of marine litter, an environmental challenge that we cannot ignore.
Furthermore, this action has an even more significant social impact: the waste collected will be exchanged for kilos of food that will be donated to FESBAL (Spanish Federation of Food Banks), thanks to the collaboration with Nueva Pescanova that Oceánidas maintains.
