Such has been the case of the summer that is already ending, in which the company has collaborated with Plant for the Planet and its online academy, held last July in the summer house of the British College of Gavà (Barcelona) with a total of 15 children between 6 and 11 years old, who had the opportunity to plant 45 rosemary plants (three per child), which will capture approximately 450Tn of CO2.
Reforestation with Plant for the Planet
As part of the ecological objectives shared with Plant for the Planet, Phergal Laboratories has recently obtained the Climate Neutrality Certificate for this year, which compensates for 2021, fulfilling its commitment to neutralise greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 300 tonnes of CO2, capturing the CO2 emitted from the atmosphere by planting 500 trees.
In this way, Phergal continues to support the leadership and participation of girls, boys and young people as Ambassadors for Justice, through Plant for the Planet, offsetting part of its carbon footprint through the reforestation of more than 1,000 trees, making the company’s climate neutrality a reality.
