At Phergal Laboratorios we are in luck! We have been recognised with the Best Sustainable Innovation award at the Beauty Innovation Awards, held during the Beauty Innovation Days of the Beauty Cluster. This award rewards sustainable innovation in the cosmetics industry, highlighting those initiatives that make a difference in the sector.
This recognition is a reflection of our commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, values that we have been integrating into every step we take for years. Among our most outstanding initiatives, we have achieved the ‘Calculo y Compenso’ certificate awarded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO), a milestone that fills us with pride.
Months ago we set out on this path with determination and effort, unifying and fulfilling all the necessary requirements to obtain this certification. This achievement is not only a recognition of our work, but also a boost to continue advancing in our mission: to offer high quality dermo-pharmaceutical cosmetics while respecting and caring for the planet.
This commitment is reflected in each of our products and brands, such as Dr. Tree, our eco-conscious cosmetics line with COSMOS Ecocert-certified formulas that care for the skin and the planet.
In addition, since 2019 we have been collaborating with Plant for the Planet, offsetting more than 1,500 tonnes of CO₂ through its reforestation project. Since 2021, we have also been supporting ocean conservation together with Oceánidas, in its Marine Watchers Network project, removing more than 28 tonnes of waste from beaches and oceans.
This award belongs to all of us at Phergal Laboratorios. More than 200 people who, day after day, give the best of ourselves to create innovative, responsible products that are aligned with a more sustainable future.Here’s to this recognition and to continuing to transform cosmetics into an engine for positive change.
